MCS for Windows SQL supports today's most widely used Platforms

Server Operating Systems
MCS for Windows SQL will run on any of the following server operating systems.
 - Microsoft Windows 2000 Server
 - Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server
 - Microsoft Windows NT Server version 5.0 SP5 or later
 - Microsoft Windows NT Server version 4.0 Enterprise Edition with SP5 or later

Desktop Operating Systems
MCS for Windows SQL will run as a client on any of the following desktop operating systems.
 - Microsoft Windows XP Professional
 - Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional

 - Microsoft Windows 98 SE

Database Management Systems
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 – Enterprise Edition
This version is recommended for large organizations that anticipate significant business or transactional growth. Enterprise Edition servers are scalable up to 32 CPU’s and 64 GB of RAM. SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition also includes advance analysis services (OLAP).

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 – Standard Edition
This version is recommended for small and medium sized organizations that do not require advanced scalability and availability features or several of the more advance analysis features of SQL Server Enterprise Edition. Standard Edition servers are scalable up to 4 CPU’s and 2GB of RAM.

Microsoft SQL Server 2000 – Personal Edition
This is a limited version of Microsoft SQL Server and is only recommended for up to 2 users. This version will run on any of the server operating systems listed above as well as on Windows 2000 Professional, Windows XP Professional, Windows NT Workstation 4.0 SP5 or later.

Microsoft Small Business Server
Microsoft Small Business Server is a full-featured network solution designed to help business with up to 50 PC’s take advantage of SQL database management systems, email and the Internet while strengthening customer relationships and improving employee productivity.

 - Microsoft Windows 2000 Server:   Advanced network operating system providing file, print, web application and management services.
 - Microsoft SQL Server 2000:   Fast, reliable relational database management server and engine for running a multitude of business software solutions.
 - Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server:   Messaging and collaboration server delivers anytime, anywhere access to the people and information you want.
 - Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2000:   Extensible firewall with web cache server and policy-based security, acceleration and management of shared Internet connections.
 - Microsoft Shared Fax Services:   Sends and receives faxes and provides support for fax boards and ISDN cards, fax over IP and broadcast fax support.
 - Microsoft Shared Modem Services:   Enables client machines to use modems shared on Small Business Server to connect to external information services.
 - Microsoft Health Monitor 2.1:   Sends server status and advance warning of potential problems.
